Vicky Pattison loves a beauty treatment just as much as the next girl and she took it to whole new level this week when she treated her skin to this knock-all-other-face-masks-into-touch facial.

And we thought cloth face mask selfies looked bizarre!

Is it C-3PO? An extra from Doctor Who? No, it's Vicky Pattison having a facial! 1 March 2016

Vicky, who's currently enjoying a stint as guest panellist on ITV's Loose Women, took to Instagram on Tuesday (1 March) where she posted this c-razy face mask picture.

Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Kelly Osbourne, Rita Ora? Look and learn, because this is what we call a scary-looking face mask snap!

"A relaxing week at home wouldn't be the same without a trip to my fave @drtijionesho at @lebeau_ideal," Vicky posted.

"This mask may make me look like a budget Iron Man but the benefits of the @neoelegance mask are amazing!" the I'm A Celeb winner added.

So, what on earth is this sci-fi-looking contraption and how the bejesus can it possibly be so great for the skin?

Vicky showed off her bare-faced beauty in a "lazy morning" selfie on Monday, 29 February 2016

Well, Vicky popped to Le Beau Ideal in Jesmond, Newcastle, where cosmetic doctor and star of E4's Bodyshockers Dr Tijion Esho treated her to a NeoElegance Illumination Mask Treatment.

Le Beau Ideal has seen everyone from Amy Childs and Faye Tozer, through to fellow Geordie favourites Charlotte Crosby and Holly Hagan walk through its doors. So, it was no surprise that Vicky found herself visiting the celebrity hotspot for this latest high-tech facial treatment!

The Neo mask uses LED colour light therapy to boost collagen, increase circulation, reduce inflammation and improve the overall health of your skin. It can even be used to kill acne-causing bacteria and treat discolouration if these are more what the skin doctor ordered.

We're yet to see an 'after' snap of Vicky's post-facial skin, but you can bet your bottom dollar it'll be positively glowing and she'll look more gorgeous than ever.

If at all possible.
