Jennifer Lawrence turned up fashionably late at this year's 88th Annual Academy Awards. But the Joy actress was WELL worth the wait and totally nailed it on the red carpet.

Is that a platinum blonde, super-straight bob we spy? Oh yes, it sure is.

Jennifer, who was nominated for Best Actress, kept fans and photographers on the red carpet waiting until the very last minute on Sunday night (28th February), but made it by the skin of her teeth as she arrived while everyone else was taking their seats inside the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Jen turned up with Joy director David O. Russell and they still managed to pose on the red carpet before rushing inside to join the awards.

Wearing black, lace Haute Couture Dior, JLaw blinged up her look with a delicate-looking Chopard necklace featuring 47.35 carats of diamond set in 18 carat white gold.

Yes, wowza indeed!

But it was the Silver Linings Playbook actress' gorgeous hair that caught major attention in the Reveal office.

Jen has been rocking her bob for a while now, but she's been wearing it either wavy or scooped back into an updo for her recent red carpet appearances.

So it was fabulous to see her cut in all its glory as she wore it straight and shiny, highlighting her longer lengths at the front and shorter layers around the back.

And is it just us or is Jen's hair looking even lighter than normal? Practically a grey-white blonde, if you will.

Loving your work, as ever, Jen.
