Kylie Jenner didn't realise she was such a beauty trendsetter

Kylie Jenner is the mastermind behind some of the biggest hair, nail and make-up trends including coffin-shaped talons and matte lippie - but the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admitted she was unaware of her beauty influence...

...until she noticed girls nabbing her look!

Nowadays, Kylie has a hairpiece collection, a successful Lip Kit and a nail varnish range with SinfulColors under her super-stylish belt but she recently told Us Weekly that she didn't know how big a beauty trendsetter she really was.

Kylie told the magazine, "I remember I was at this carnival one time — super random — and I saw three different girls with the same exact nails that I had before. And I'm like, 'This is crazy!' I didn't realise I had such a nail influence."

Since Kylie sported ha-uge square nails on Instagram last year, most of our favourite celebs have also jumped on the bandwagon. Little Mix's Jesy Nelson, TOWIE's Ferne McCann and even Kylie's older sister Khloe Kardashian are now huge fans of the trend.

So when did it dawn on KJ that she was absolutely nailing it (sorry) in the beauty stakes?

"I started to realise my reach when I did a bunch of meet and greets for mine and my sister's PacSun line" she told the publication.

"Almost every girl would have grey hair if I had grey hair. [If I had blue hair], every girl would have blue hair and she'd be like, 'I did it because of you!"

Kylie's second lip kit batch sold out in a matter of minutes (yep, MINUTES) and her SinfulColors range is set to send the internet into meltdown, too, so the term 'beauty trendsetter' is actually a bit of an understatement.

'Genius', maybe?
