Not only did she rock up to the red carpet in a floor-length, electric blue galactic coat, which was custom-made by Marc Jacobs, but she also donned matching eye make-up and a fiery red wig which was very reminiscent of Bowie's iconic, flame-haired persona, Ziggy Stardust.
Gaga joined all manner of musicians and stars at the Grammys on Monday, which were hosted by LL Cool J and held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California.
And while Taylor Swift's new blunt bob and Adele's epic performance were some of our highlights of the do, the main spotlight was well and truly on Lady Gaga and her tribute to the late, great David Bowie.
Bowie devastatingly died of cancer at 69 years of age earlier this year and at the weekend, Gaga paid her first homage to the star by getting a tattoo inked onto her ribs of his face as it appeared on the cover of his 1973 album, Aladdin Sane.
Gaga's whole Grammy performance was changed to play tribute to the singer's life and his huge influence on music, so it was fitting that she went the whole hog and styled her red carpet look on Bowie's iconic alter-ego.
We love to watch Gaga transform her look with a whole array of wigs, hairpieces and wild make-up looks.
Just recently the 'Poker Face' singer wowed the world with her rendition of 'The Star Spangled Banner' at this year's Super Bowl. And not only was her performance a-to-the-mazing, but her hair, make-up and outfit were pretty special too.
We've also seen The Countess rock a pink mullet, huge dark curls and more recently a blonde 'perm.'
Hats off to that woman.
