Slick, flicked and with plenty of height, let's just say you'd better get your hairspray stocked up and your backcombing skills honed to perfection for this one, ladies!
Just yesterday, Lady Gaga stormed the stage at the Super Bowl 50 when she sang an emotional and flawless version of 'The Star-Spangled Banner' before the biggest American football game of the year kicked off at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
(It was between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers, btw and the Broncos won 10-24. Just in case it happens to come up in this week's pub quiz. You're welcome!)
Dressed in a suitably apt red spangly trouser-suit, along with matching eyeshadow and dazzling blue nails, we loved Gaga's eye-catching look, but who knew her hair was going to become 'the' trend to wear back in Blighty?
But that's exactly what happened when today (8 February), two of our favourite Brit babes rocked their own versions of Gaga's slicked back bouffant!
First up came Katie Price, who showed off a slightly Kim (or even Khloe?) Kardashian-esque version of the look for her stint on Loose Women on Monday morning.
And then former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh got in on the action later in the day, when she took to lnstagram to show off a behind-the-scenes selfie while on a photo shoot for: "werk"!
Now, you know what they say in the fashion and beauty biz – two might be coincidence, but three is most DEFINITELY a trend!
To work this look, you first need to channel your inner '80s, then it's all about backcombing the front of your hair into a high quiff while combing the sides back using plenty of hairspray to create a strong hold that looks both slick and 'styled.'
Slicked hair is also a great look to work if you have a bob, lob or even short, cropped hair.
Just think more along the lines of Game Of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie and you've nailed it.
