Kaley Cuoco's make-up artist has just revealed the trick to her enviably flawless make-up at last week's 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony - and you'll be dying to give it a go once you know!

The Big Bang Theory actress looked nothing short of glamorous when she made her debut on the red carpet alongside a string of A-List pals, but aside from her fabulous topknot 'do, it was her seamless eyeshadow and airbrushed complexion that grabbed our attention.

Now we could put Kaley's perfect beauty look down to an array of eye-wateringly expensive treatments and creams but we know better thanks to her MUA Jamie Greenberg who mentioned that he used a lip balm - yep, a lip balm - to prime Kaley's skin before applying make-up.

The product in question? Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream Intensive Lip Balm, £20.

Jamie mentioned that he wanted to go for strong geometric shapes with a bold smokey eye and that the only way to keep the shadow in place would be to dab a touch of the lippie onto Kaley's eyelids first.

The make-up maestro also dotted the lip balm all over Kaley's face as a foundation primer, to prevent it from slipping off throughout the night or clinging onto dry patches of skin. And of course, Jamie applied the balm to Kaley's lips to make sure that her beautiful, neutral-toned lipliner didn't snag or bleed on application.

Genius, right?
