Eyeliner - especially if you're a cat-eye flick 'kinda girl - is always a tricky one to master, but Kim Kardashian's make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic has a genius trick to nailing it every time.

The make-up maestro - who recently launched L'Oreal Paris' latest sculpting range - took to Kimmy's app to let us all in on the application technique he swears by for a seamless finish and he had us wondering why we hadn't thought of it all before!

For a flawless flick Mario mentioned that he draws three dots on the lashline - one in the corner, one in the middle and one at the outer corner of the eye. He then connects them by running the nib along the dots and just past the outer corner to create a fierce almond shape.

Mario - who is now a star in his own right - is currently obsessed with L'Oreal's Superliner Black N' Sculpt, £6.99, thanks to the clever spherical-shaped tip that really gets into the contours of your peepers. A beauty bargain if ever we saw one.

The Instagram king also had a top tip for those who make a hash of liquid liner due to unsteady hands. Basically all of us then!

"If you're a little shaky, always rest your elbow on something, like your dressing table, to steady your hand. You'll get a perfect line every time."

But what will actually give us a professional, magazine shoot-worthy finish?

"When applying liner, gently lift up the skin of your lid by the eyebrow to get the product into the roots of your lashes," Mario finished. He then mentioned that he likes to blend the liner with a separate angled brush after giving it another a once over for extra definition - and that's when you can apply your lashes.

So there you have it - Kim Kardashian-approved shortcuts to liner so sassy and sharp, it's almost dangerous.
