In the past week alone, KoKo has gone from sleek to tousled and rocked all manner of classic up do's but yesterday's barnet - which she debuted on Instagram - has really divided opinion amongst her fans and followers.
Khloe and her trusty hairdresser César DeLeön Ramirêz decided to mix things up a little yesterday morning before an appearance on the Late Night with Seth Meyers show in New York and even though it is completely unusual, we've fallen in love with this bobby-pin laden look.
Genius César DeLeön Ramirêz slicked Khloe's locks back into a tight ponytail and instead of accessorising with alicebands a la Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall or even a dusting of glitter like Leona Lewis, he chose to jazz up the look with a handful of plain black hair grips just underneath Khloe's ear.
Khloe's snap, which has racked up a staggering 462K likes and counting, gained a hoard of complements from fans but some were sceptical that the new trend would catch on. One follower even wrote, "It looks a bit primary school."
That said, the look is really growing on us and when better to experiment than the weekend? Just follow these simple steps and be sure to take a selfie!
Begin this look with clean hair and give it a blast with a hairdryer until completely bone dry.
Ditch sticky gels and spritz the VO5 Shape My Style Sublime Sleek Creation Hairspray, £3.99 through your lengths before reaching for the straighteners. It'll provide you with a irresistibly smooth and impossibly glossy finish.
Use a tail comb to create a centre parting and secure your hair into a low ponytail using a handful of black hairbands.
Simply take a fistful of hair grips (black or brown will do) and stack them next to each other. Leave a tiny space in between the grips so that your hair peeks through.
Give your hair a once-over with a veil of hairspray to prevent flyaways at the front. (Khloe loves this one from Moroccanoil).
