Before... and after! Holly reveals what it takes to achieve her super-glam, contoured look, 22 December 2015

Holly's not the first to show off her Kim contouring tricks on social media after both Maria Fowler and Kelly Brook revealed similar snaps on Instagram in the past.

"I literally cannot do my make up without the cream contour palette from @iconic.london," Holly posted on Tuesday (22 December).

"#contour #mysecret," she added.

Well, it's not a secret any more, because with over 12000 likes at last count, her secret is most definitely out!

Holly is all about high-glamour make-up, pictured here at a recent Christmas party in London, 8 December 2015

Holly's contouring palette of choice is the Iconic London Multi Use Cream Contour Palette, £32.99, iconiclondoninc.com, but we also love Smashbox Step By Step Contour Kit, £35, boots.com or the slightly more purse-pleasing NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette, £18, boots.com.

Just remember, contouring is all about highlighting the high planes of your face that are naturally hit by light (ie: your cheekbones, nose, brow bones, forehead and chin), while at the same time creating shadows in the deeper planes of your face.

All this, when blended to perfection, helps to create the illusion of contoured features and glowing skin.

We confess, it's not the easiest make-up trick to master but as long as you blend, blend, blend and stick with base tones that aren't more than two or three shades darker or lighter than your natural skin tones, you should be able to nail it.

Failing that, tinted moisturiser and some deftly applied blusher is just as gorgeous!
