Holly's glowing, flawless face and artfully twisted locks was the work of professional hair and make-up artist Johanna Dalemo, who proved that when it comes to perfecting your beauty look, it's not always about applying tons of product.
Johanna took us through her hero products used on the shoot - so read on!
For Holly's base I used MAC Studio Fix foundation and MAC Select Coverup concealer - heavier coverage is perfect for studio settings.
MAC powder blush in Modern Mandarin is my go to for achieving a fresh, dewy glow. This is a genius product because it already has highlighter in it, so it immediately perked up Holly's complexion.
"If you're after a glowy daytime look you can apply this without the need for extra highlighter, however, this particular look required serious strobing, so I added a swirl of MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade.
These MAC soft khol pencils are easy to blend, so I used two different shades around Holly's eyes to get a multi toned smokey look. The mixture of MAC's intense bronze Teddy and black Smoulder liners created a rich, moody hue, perfect for the glamorous shoot.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara gave Holly dramatic lashes in just one coat, so this is great if you're after instant results. The large brush means you get the volume and length of false lashes without any clumps!
From the sequin frock to the champagne, this look was all about full on glamour, so I used MAC Coppering eyeshadow for a gorgeous golden shimmer that stands out.
For Holly's lips I lined and filled them in using MAC's Dervish lip pencil, the natural, soft pink tone is great for making lips appear fuller. For a glossy finish I applied a slick of Vaseline on top.
