And The X Factor presenter took to Instagram on Tuesday (8 December) to show off her discovery to her adoring followers.
"Dont need red lippy anymore," Caroline posted along with this picture, above. "Just the Bleach hair crayon... It's like a matt Lady Danger," she added.
Hold on a minute Caroline, are you seriously telling us that you used this Bleach London Hair Crayon, £4, bleachlondon.co.uk on your lips, instead of lipstick?
And that it's just like one of our fave lippies, Mac Lipstick in Lady Danger, £15.50, maccosmetics.co.uk?
What the... whaaat?!
Yes, in fact, this was exactly what last year's Strictly Come Dancing winner was advising. And later in the same day, she posed with Claudia Winkleman to show off her fabulous red pout – along with what looks like the return of her ombre hair colour... We literally can't keep up!
Now we're not sure we would advise using a temporary hair crayon on your lips to create a long-lasting colour, but if Caroline says it's ok, who are we to argue?
Personally however, as much as we love the Bleach London colourants for upping our hair game, we'll be sticking with our favourite red lipsticks to create our festive pouts. After all, they were formulated to use ON. OUR. LIPS.
