Millie Mackintosh let us in on a few of her travelling beauty secrets this week as she made her way Down Under for the Melbourne Cup Carnival Charity Ball.

And it looked like the former Made In Chelsea star certainly likes to travel in style...

Millie showed off a fine array of in-flight beauty essentials, 28 October 2015

Millie took to Instagram on Wednesday (28 October) to catalogue a series of snaps as she flew to Melbourne with Emirates.

"Do I sleep or play with all the gadgets? Excited to be on my way to Melbourne," she first posted, along with this pic (below) of her plush 'seat' on board what is clearly not the economy class section of the plane!

She then snapped another photo of her in-flight beauty essentials (above) to show us exactly what it takes to keep her looking tip-top on such a long flight to the other side of the world.

"Pre flight beauty regime sorted!" Millie wrote. "I've just had my @superelixir @ellemacphersonofficial has told me it helps beat jet lag. Maybe not mixed with champagne?"

Oh how we wish our flights looked as comfortable as Millie's swanky ride! 28 October 2015

Millie met Ellie Macpherson at a dinner the previous evening (more jealousy from Reveal HQ) where she picked up a clever little travelling tip from 'the Body' herself.

The tip? To drink a sachet of the food supplement, Super Elixir – a blend of 45 ingredients, including alkalising super greens, Chinese herbs and digestive enzymes. The blend is said to support healthy nutrition and ensure optimum performance of your bodily functions to keep you healthy on the inside and therefore make you look gorgeous from the outside!

"It is an investment but it's cheaper than a good face cream," reckons supermodel Elle.

Kate Moss and Daisy Lowe are also fans of the powdered supplement which costs a rather eye-watering £98. Ouch!

Millie picked up some travelling tips from the gorgeous Elle Macpherson when they met the previous evening, 27 October 2015

We agree with Millie that it probably shouldn't be taken with a glass of champers, but hopefully she was joking with that comment!

Among Millie's other travelling essentials, we spied some Liz Earle treats, including a travel-sized Instant Boost Skin Tonic, £6 and the gorgeous emergency dry skin saviour, Superbalm, from £5.25.

An eye mask to help her get a couple of hours shut-eye, and some other tinctures and treats completed her beauty flight companions.

Let's just hope there were a few glasses of water thrown in to ensure she kept her body and skin well hydrated as well...
