Mel B's 'simple' nails look far from simple to us... but we love 'em!

Mel B got our nails falling in love with nude polish all over again, when she showed off a gorgeously sparkly, 'simple' mani on Thursday (24 September).

And what's most impressive about the former X Factor judge and Spice Girl's fabulous nails? They haven't been enhanced with falsies. Wow.

"Keeping things a little simple, just for now," Mel posted to Instagram. Simple? We don't think so.

Super-long talons with squared-off tips? Not simple. A perfect polish job with intricately placed diamanté studs? Fairly simple to create, but certainly not simple to look at. Honestly, those celebrities...

Mel, who's just finished filming the finale of the latest season of America's Got Talent, got us all excited about a possible Spice Girls reunion last week.

But that could a) take forever and b) not even happen, so we're trying to take our mind off it by concentrating on other things. Namely Victoria Beckham's store anniversary party and Mel's fabulous nails!

Mel B has just finished judging on AGT along with Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Howard Stern, 16 September 2015

Mel's mani was created by the talented team at Nail Bar & Beauty Lounge in Beverly Hills, LA where Mel has become a bit of a regular. She even took former Xtra Factor presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford there when S-J was visiting California back in August.

And Mel's latest look is yet another bobby dazzler to add to her list of hair and beauty successes.

To copy her look, we don't suggest attempting the squared-off tip at home (that's best left to the pros in our opinion), but you can easily recreate her nude-bling combo.

First, paint your nails with a pale nude polish like Orly Colour Blast Polish in Nude Crème, £9.50,

And remember, two thin coats always look better than one super-thick one, so bear this in mind when piling it on all at once...

Finish with a glossy topcoat like O.P.I. Rapidry Top Coat, £13.25,, then, as this dries, use tweezers to apply a triangle of gems at the base of each ring fingernail.

We love NPW Nail Gem Wheel, £3, which contains all manner of studs and gems for future nail art creations.
