Louise Roe showed us what to look out for in the world of hair for 2016, when she rocked one of our favourite new hair trends this week...

The fashion stylist and author didn't miss a trick while doing the rounds at New York Fashion Week at the weekend – showing off one of the very same hair trends on Instagram just two days later!

Louise looks TOTALLY different with bangs! 14 September 2015

Louise was snapped watching the Rebecca Minkoff SS16 show alongside Disney stars Olivia Holt and Skyler Samuels, ski racer Lindsey Vonn and actresses Jamie Chung and Jaime King on Saturday (12 September).

And she was clearly taken by those fabulous fringes because she decided she wanted in on the action...

"I don't normally post selfies but I feel like this chick totally should," Louise posted along with this picture, above.

"Don't worry they're clip-ins!" she added. "Recreating @Tresemme's runway look for @RebeccaMinkoff show. Marianne Faithful baby!"

We barely recognised Louise with her new, albeit temporary, do, but as you know, we're big fans of fringes here at Reveal HQ and it seems 'big bangs' are big news for next year, proving this whole '70s trend is going nowhere fast. Yessss!

If you fancy trying out the look, without the commitment of going for the chop, you could also try a clip-in fringe – just remember to make sure it matches your natural hair colour exactly or you'll give the game away in no time!

We love the Clip-in Fringes, £8.99, beautyworksonline.com or you could try a Hairdo Fringe with Wisps, £24, hothair.co.uk.

But for a truly colour-matched look, ask your hairdresser to cut you a thick, lash-skimming fringe that's rounded at the edges and has plenty of layers.

As long as they think it will suit you of course! Fringes aren't for everyone so have a consultation with your hairdresser first... and most importantly ALWAYS listen to their advice.
