In spite of the non-stop partying and endless drama, TOWIE's Jess Wright always manages to appear completely flawless on screen - but what if we told you that her seamless look is all down to a handful of high-street beauty buys...?

For Jess, it's all about prepping the skin before dipping into her make-up bag! "I like using the Phillips Pure Facial Cleansing Brush once or twice a week," she said. "You use it all over your face and it exfoliates your skin which is a really important thing to do otherwise you're just layering and layering make-up onto dead skin!"

"My skin can get dry so before I go to bed I will apply the Manuka Doctor Replenishing Facial Oil, £19.99. to hydrate it overnight. I find it leaves my skin looking really fresh in the morning."

Skin tends to dry out in the warmer months, so for a much needed hit of moisture, apply a few drops onto the palm of your hand and distribute onto your face in upwards strokes - it's a firm fave in our skincare routine, too!

Luckily for Jess, she doesn't have to contend with dreaded breakouts but she admits that constant filming and hitting the odd bottle of fake tan can also play havoc with her complexion! "I don't ever really suffer with spots although my skin can get quite dry if I'm using fake tan regularly or reapplying my make-up frequently," she says.

"Because you're under quite harsh lighting when filming you need to be careful with your application techniques and I often use the Manuka Doctor Replenishing Day Cream, £24.99. It's so hydrating and keeps my skin feeling soft for the whole day."

The reality star is all about that base and teams her hero moisturiser with the the amazing Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, £25 before popping on both her concealer and foundation.

"I always make sure I use a primer! This one from Smashbox is really nice as it helps keep your make-up in place, especially if you're on set for long periods of time," she gushes.

And what other beauty items made it into her Marbs hand luggage this summer?

"I went for the Manuka Doctor CC Cream, £19.99 for lighter coverage instead of foundation. In my clutch I'll always have my lipstick with me - whatever one I'm wearing - and my eyeliner as it always wears off the waterline. I like anti-shine make-up and the KIKO Powder, £11.90 works really well."

"I would say don't overdo your make-up by the pool," she says. "Go for a more natural, lighter look otherwise it can end up sweating off and not looking great."

Talking of make-up mishaps, the brunette beauty mentioned that she has SO many on screen regrets and often cringes when she watches old episodes back - eek! "I didn't know about strip lashes or contouring in the early days and I hadn't learnt the best make-up looks for me or how to apply things in the best way," she said.

"Everyone has their own beauty style pinned down now - even though it's taken us a while! If I had to choose, I'd say Billie's is great because not only is she hot but she's also a mummy too!"

But who hogs the mirror the most out of the whole TOWIE cast? We bet you can't guess..

"Arg definitely! He's always checking himself out in the mirror!"
