While most people watch Wimbledon for the actual sport itself, you can't blame us for clamouring over spectators to catch a glimpse of Kim Murray (nee Sears) and her beautiful tresses - don't judge, okay?

Kim's recent appearance on the court saw her channel 70s chic with these gorgeous feathered waves which you can recreate in just five straightforward steps using these styling essentials. Don't say we never treat you!

Step One: Divide your hair into sections, beginning at the nape of neck, and comb through the Nicky Clarke Flexible Hold Mousse, £2.99.

We're also a little bit obsessed with UNITE's Elevate Mousse, £18.50 which has a whole host of celeb fans including TOWIE's Chloe Sims (it's her Marbs beauty fave, dontcha know) and none other than Kylie Jenner.

Step Two: To achieve lustrous, healthy locks like Kim, be sure to add some smoothing cream throughout your lengths. For best results and minimum damage, squeeze in Redken's Outshine 01 Anti Frizz Polishing Milk, £15.80 from the middle to the ends. Treat it like a conditioner and give your roots a miss to avoid a slicked back look.

Step Three: Blast your hair until it is 90% dry with the Nicky Clarke Diamond Shine Dryer, £63.99. It will take out most of the moisture without leaving you with a halo of unsightly frizz, so styling becomes a breeze.

Step Four: Section off the fringe area, brush it upwards and using a vent brush like this one from Kent, £20, move the dryer from side to side for extra volume at the roots.

Step Five: To create the feathered movement at the ends, set your hair in Nicky Clarke's Classic Compact Rollers, £20.99. Leave these in as long as possible to create optimum bounce. Then simply release the rollers and brush out using a wide tooth comb for separation.
