And the former Glee actress styled her luscious mane in a fabulous braid this week that got us all practicing our plaiting techniques with even more envy in our eyes...
Lea looked stunning on the red carpet on Monday (11 May), as she attended Fox Upfronts in New York City to promote her new show, Scream Queens along with co-star, Emma Roberts.
Dressed in a thigh-skimming, burgundy Zuhair Murad frock, along with killer heels, smoky eyes and nude lips, Lea totally killed it. And her hair certainly disappoint either.
Lea went for a high, chunky braid that showed off her dress brilliantly – and showcased a new, brow-skimming fringe she revealed earlier that day on Instagram.
"The bangs are back!!!" she posted.
Lea's fabulous do was all thanks to Chicago-born, celebrity hairstylist Sarah Potempa who's worked with Lea many times in the past.
"To give Lea's face a strong structure, I cut her bangs just above her eyelashes and swept them long on each side," Sarah explained.
Here's how to copy Lea's look:
1. First spritz your hair with salt spray to add texture and volume, then blow-dry it all over, using a round brush to dry your fringe straight.
2. Next, tong your hair for even more body and then loosely pull it up into a high ponytail and fix with a band.
3. Wrap a small piece of hair around the band to cover it, then plait your ponytail all the way to the ends.
4. Gently pull small pieces of hair out of your plait for a messy finish, then finish with a spritz of shiny hairspray. We love John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Fixing Shine Maximum Hold Hairspray, £6, boots.com.
