And when the singer, X Factor judge and former Girls Aloud star switches up her hair – the whole country (us included!) sits up and takes notice.
Cheryl ditched her much-coveted lengthy locks at the beginning of March when she enlisted her favourite hairdresser, Paul Percival of top London salon, Percy & Reed, to chop her hair into a fabulous, graduated crop.
"Creating a new look had been talked about for a while," explained Paul after revealing Cheryl's new do. "But this cut was done on the spur of the moment," he added.
"We were backstage in Cheryl's dressing room and we both knew the look we wanted to create, and so, an hour and a half later Cheryl had a completely new look."
Well, it was a new look that certainly got us all talking, as Cheryl was always known for those luscious, long locks that consistently saw her at the top of Britain's most asked-for hairstyles.
She totally nails her new chop, however, and we're loving the fact she's keeping us on our toes by now taking her colour over to the red side!
"@ellenoradean thanks for the colour refresh," Cheryl posted to Instagram on Wednesday (15 April), after snapping her dad running down the stairs in her latest selfie (top).
Chezza's recent colour has shown definite tones of redness, but it's not looked anywhere near as red as this new dramatic shade, which was created by Ellenora Dean, another top stylist from the Percy & Reed salon.
Could it be that she's changed from her usual shade of L'Oréal Paris Casting Creme Gloss in Berry Red, £6.79, boots.com?
