She stepped out again on Saturday

While it looked gorge in her low-key selfie, we really started swooning on Saturday when Kim stepped out at a Roc Nation Pre-Grammys brunch in Los Angeles. And when she hit the red carpet at the awards bash the next day? Oh, we fell in love!

It's not hard to see why Kanye's girl opted for the wonder cut. 'This style is especially great for slimming down rounder faces as it skims the jawline before hitting the collarbone,' explains Rae Palmer, director at WeLove Hair and Beauty, and artistic director at Matrix haircare.

'But the beauty of Kim's new cut is that it suits all ages and face shapes. It can be easily adapted and personalised to flatter an individual. It's also great for anyone with irregular growth patterns such as a widow's peak or cow's lick as the style lends itself to an upwards growing shape,' Rae adds.

So you're ready to brave the chop too? 'Ask your hairdresser for a collarbone-length, midi-style where the baseline is cut slightly disconnected to add interest and to keep the look from being too graphic,' reveals Rae. 'Your stylist should then cut in some subtle rounded layers to give you a little volume and shape,' she explains.

While Kim's proved the versatility of her new cut (straight, textured and wavy in three days - impressive!) it was her red carpet waves that really stole the show. Her stylist on the night, Michael Silva, told US style website Fashionista how he created her Grammy's get-up;

'It was a lot more air dried and hand-tousled. I used the Shu Uemura Art of Hair Ample Angora Mousse, £16.75, as a base, then a Kerastase serum, and I added a little bit of Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray, £21.50, all when it was wet. I finished it with the new Kardashian Pure Glitz Hair Spray [launching later this year] which is actually quite amazing,' he explains.

Kim's onto a hot trend with her new 'do - the 'lob' (that's long bob, FYI) has been taking celebsville by storm with Lea Michele and Kate Upton working it too. We want!
