Rosie Huntington-Whiteley followed the classic, 'new year, new do' rule at the weekend when she ditched her luscious long locks for a fabulous, shoulder-length bob.

With her ever-shiny, long tumbling locks, the Transformers actress often tops our list of 'most-wanted celebrity hair', so it was a brave move for Rosie to go for the chop.

But if this snap's anything to go by, it's a move that has totally paid off. Loving the look, R H-W!

Rosie showed off her new do while posing with her go-to celebrity hairdresser, George Northwood.

George owns his own swanky salon in central London and, as well as being the man behind Rosie's trademark locks, has been the creator of Alexa Chung's covetable haircuts for many years.

"Ready for 2015 equipped with a fresh new do!" Rosie Instagrammed on Sunday (28 December).

"Thank you to my favourite brother sister hair duo...#ShortHairDontCare #GeorgeNorthwood #SallyNorthwood #BeThereOrHaveBadHair."

While the colour doesn't look dissimilar to her regular, honey blonde locks, Rosie's hairstyle is now a long bob that sits right on her shoulders.

George has styled it over to one side, while blow-drying it to create plenty of root volume and a soft kick on the ends.

We. Totally. Want. Her. Hair. Actually, we wouldn't say no to the face either!...
