Sarah-Jane Crawford worked a very sparkly manicure this weekend as this season's X Factor came to a dramatic conclusion.

The gorgeous Xtra Factor presenter looked absolutely stunning in a feathered Matthew Williamson dress on Saturday night (13 December) and cannily matched her nails not to her heels or lipstick, but to her microphone, no less.

Now that's something we've not seen before!

"Thanks to @SharonBNails for the stunning manicure for the Final Weeknd!!" Sarah-Jane Instagrammed on Sunday morning after the viewers said a sad goodbye to Andrea Faustini on Saturdays night's show.

Sharon Baker, who owns Belle Femme Nails Tanning and Beauty Salon in Daventry, recently painted Mel B's nails a gorgeous electric blue colour, to match her Balenciaga heels for one of the live X Factor shows.

And now that she's created this little belter of a manicure on Sarah-Jane, we reckon Sharon will be in sizzling hot demand.

Sarah-Jane's nails were painted with silver glitter and tipped with black, shiny polish that perfectly matched her sparkly microphone.

Nice touch.

To copy her look, paint your nails with a silver polish first, then top them with a glittery top coat like RImmel London Glitter Bomb Top Coat in Disco Fever, £3.99, superdrug.com.

Cover your glitter with another clear topcoat to create a smooth base for your black polish to sit on, then paint your tips with a black polish such as Mavala Nail Colour in Black, £4.75, boots.com.

Draw the two base lines of your tips first (like the tip of an arrow), then fill in the top of your nails with your black polish and allow it to dry completely before finishing with another coat of your clear topcoat.

Then be very (we repeat, VERY) patient and allow your microphone mani to dry for a good 30 minutes. Remember, all those layers of polish will take much longer than your normal manicure to totally dry.

You have been warned.
