The Little Mix singer showcased her freshly-lacquered nails in an Instagram snap earlier today (2 December).
Jesy filed her talons into an elegant almond shape while painting the base a matte black shade, adding a slick of gloss just to the very tips. We like to call it the textured black French manicure!
It's a great design for winter if you prefer to rock dark nails, but want a change from your usual glossy crimson red shades or berry purple hues.
But the best thing about Jesy's mani? It looks super-impressive, yet it's SO easy to recreate! Here's how...
1. Start by sweeping on your favourite base coat. This is essential when using dark nail polish as it helps prevent your nails from staining.
2. Next, take a matte black nail polish and apply to each nail. You'll probably need to layer on two or three coats for an opaque finish. Our fave is Rimmel Velvet Matte Nail Polish in Matte-itude, £4.49.
3. Make sure your black shade is fully dry, then take a glossy top coat (try Nails Inc. Kensington Caviar Top Coat, £12), and fill in just the tips of your talons. If your nails are square, use your top coat to draw a straight line across the tips, or if your talons are almond-shaped like Jesy's, mirror this by painting your tips with a slightly curved line. Leave to dry and then you're done!
