The 'Only Human' singer may have worn one of the most elaborate gowns we've ever seen for this weekend's Big Band show (15 November), but her hair was kept clean and chic and was the perfect look to go with her dress...
Cheryl, who has just one girl, Lauren Platt, left in the competition, chose a figure-skimming, floor-length Naeem Khan gown that was covered in pearls, sequins and featured a rather fabulous, feathered hemline.
With such a jaw-dropping frock, a big, crazy hairdo would have looked very wrong, so it was a darn clever move by our Chezza to keep her locks so simple.
How did she achieve such style perfection? With a lot of help from hair guru Paul Percival, co-founder of swish London salons Percy & Reed, that's how!
Paul has been the man behind all of Cheryl's hairstyles on the X Factor live shows and he's coined this latest look the 'Centre Slick Bun'.
A centre-parting doesn't suit everyone so if you have a very long face, try switching this up into a side-parted bun, but other than that it's a pretty easy look to copy at home.
1. First, damp down your hair by spritzing it all over with a little water. Then, create your centre parting and comb it all back and over your ears.
2. Scoop all of your hair into a low, tight ponytail and secure it at the nape of your neck with a covered band.
3. Twist your ponytail into a sleek bun, secure it with grips and that's pretty much it.
What could possibly be simpler?
