The TOWIE star kicked off her challenge by updating her hair extensions at Malcolm Murphy Hair on Sunday afternoon (19 October).
And while Lydia's hair looked as gorgeous as ever with her new Great Lengths extensions styled to perfection, it was Monday's mani we loved even more...
Not one to go in for long, stiletto-shaped nails like Lily Allen, Rita Ora and Jessie J, Lydia keeps hers short and perfectly groomed into a neat, slightly squared-off shape.
Much easier to copy, that's for sure!
"Getting a fresh mani with @simplygorgxxx," Lydia Instagrammed with the close-up snapshot above.

Well Lydia, this kind of manicure, created by nail technician Denise Saunders, makes us totally happy too.
Especially as we reckon we can copy the look in mere minutes!
1. First, file your nails into a squoval shape. And if one nail is shorter than the rest, file them all to that length as your overall manicure will look MUCH more professional.
2. Gently buff your nails and push down your cuticles before applying a thin layer of base coat to protect your nails from staining.
3. Grab a sparkly, slate grey polish like Orly Colour Blast Nail Polish in Granite Luxe Shimmer, £9.50, boots.com and apply two, thin coats to your nails, allowing the first coat to dry fully before painting on the next.
4. Apply topcoat, then use tweezers to press small crystals onto your thumbnail, making a large, upside-down 'V' from the base of your nail almost up to the tip. We love Andrea Fulerton Nail Boutique Crystal Nail Jewels, £7.99, superdrug.com.
Easy. And as Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood would say, 'gawgeous darling'!
