From the sell-out concealer to a cleanser that's a dead ringer for a high-end number… here are the new products worth adding to your shopping list.
Concealer everyone's talking about
Lacura Limited Edition Concealer Pen, £3.95, Aldi
When this magic wand hit Aldi last year, there was practically a store stampede as people discovered it boasts the same bag-banishing powers as another very fancy buy. Michelle Keegan's make-up artist Colette Casey is a fan. 'It has less light-reflecting pigments than other concealer pens which means you won't get caught out by a camera flash,' she explains. It's making a comeback this month along with some brilliant lipsticks for £1.99 each.
Pro Formula Radiance Melting Gel Cleanser, £5, Tesco
A £3.99 high-powered make-up remover, a cleansing oil for under a fiver and this luxurious-feeling face wash - Tesco's got it spot-on when it comes to recreating cult skincare buys for a fraction of the price. This one's great for combination skins.
Pro make-up range
Boutique by Sainsbury's Powder Blusher in Footloose and Fancy Free, £6, Sainsbury's
I've rated this line, that has two top make-up artists behind it, since it's debut last year but the new autumn additions are real heroes. There are lip liners (two quid each!), eye shadow palettes, £8, and blushers - perfect for cheating a rosy autumnal look.
Savvy shopper's shampoo
M True Colours Shampoo and Conditioner, £1.95 each, Morrisons
Every mane guru will tell you colour-protecting haircare is essential for extending the time between dye jobs. This duo gets my vote - they're volumising, won't strip locks and left our tresses glossy.
New lippie love
Limited Collection Lipstick in Mallow, £5, Marks & Spencer
Have you ever seen a lipstick so lovely? The formula stays put from breakfast to bed which means no top-ups required - a shame really, you'll want to flaunt the pretty packaging at every opportunity! Pat it over clear lip balm for a sheerer finish.
Pampering bath treat
Maternelle Mum to Be Relaxing Bath Soak, £4.99, Waitrose
Don't be put off by the name of this bath and body range - preggers or not, it's a good'un. Everything's dermatologically tested so fab for sensitive skin types. Reckon Waitrose shopper and mummy-to-be Kate Middleton will be popping some in her basket?
Best dry body weapon
NSPA Patchouli and Ylang-Ylang Hydrating Body Oil, £2.95, Asda
Move over lotions and body butters, nothing beats the hydration hit you get from a body oil. With a subtle calming scent and not-too-greasy formula, this one boasts unbelievable value for money.
Secret to flawless foundation
Kiss Light Reflecting Primer, £4, Wilko
Sail past Wilko's pick 'n' mix aisles and you'll find this surprising make-up wonder. The promise is a little baffling (light-reflecting and mattifying?) but its skin-smoothing abilities are impressive. It made my foundation glide on easily and added a good few hours to its staying power.
