Eliza Doolittle pulled off an extremely girlie manicure this week, proving that a combination of hearts, stars and pink polish can be just as cool as any nail art!

We've been keeping a keen eye on Eliza's nail creations since the space-age mani she rocked back in July. And yet again, this little beauty was created by the very same mani magician, Sophy Robson.

We love Eliza's latest pastel manicure, 4 October 2014

Sophy has created all manner of wild, wacky and wonderful nail designs over the years and her talents have graced the talons of everyone from Kate Moss and Alicia Keys to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and, er, Boris Johnson!

She even has her own range of falsies called Nail-Its, £9.95,

So, whenever Sophy creates a fine looking celebrity mani, we take note – and this cute number she created on Eliza is no exception.

The 'Pack Up' singer had Sophy paint this latest look using baby blue and hot pink polishes which perfectly matched her outfit and hair ribbons.

And we love the use of 'negative space' (sections of the nail left unpainted), which is a trend that's definitely growing hotter every week with Pixie Lott and Nicole Scherzinger already getting in on the action...

To copy Eliza's mani, you'll need hot pink and baby blue polishes, a clear top coat, plus a thin brush and a steady hand!

We love Collection Lasting Gel Nail Colour in Think Pink, £3.19, and WAH London Nail Polish in Private Plane, £9,

First, gently push your cuticles back, then file and buff your nails into a squoval shape.

Then, grab your polish and get creative, painting some of your nails pink and some blue, but making sure each nail is left with a different-shaped, unpainted section such as a stripe, star or heart. You can use a thin make-up brush to make this easier.

When these are all dry, outline each negative space with your thin brush dipped in the other polish, so your pink nails are outlined with baby blue and vice versa.

To finish, apply a thin layer of topcoat to seal your designs and add plenty of shine.

Yes, we know, it's certainly not the easiest look to copy but c'mon ladies, practice definitely makes perfect and all that!
