Kylie and Kendall Jenner have ditched their heavy eye make-up in favour or something much more low-key, and don't they look gorgeous?

Taking to Instagram yesterday (21 August), Kylie posted a half 'n' half selfie with her big sister, showcasing both their flawless complexions.

Now we usually spot Kylie with heaps of smoky eyeshadow and a slick of liquid liner, plus even more heavy shadow swept across her lower lashlines.

Kendall also tends to amp up her look with a winged-out feline eye. But on this occasion the sisters kept things much more simple by opting for a very lashy look, keeping their lids bare while brushing on heaps of mascara.

While the reality stars are stunning no matter what make-up they opt for, we reckon their fresh-faced looks makes them all the more beautiful!

To get their mega-fluttery eyelashes, start by using your favourite eyelash curler - we like Surratt Relevee Lash Curler, £18. Gently place near the roots of your lashes before slowly clamping down, but make sure you don't catch your skin!

...while Kendall loves a feline flick.

Take your mascara and place it near the base of your lashes before wiggling the brush from side to side in a zig-zag motion as you sweep it through. This will make sure you coat each lash completely.

Remember not to pump your mascara wand as this allows air into the tube, making it dry out a lot quicker (definitely not a good thing if you're using an expensive product!).

To make your lashes look even thicker, draw a black kohl pencil along the rim of your upper lashlines, and finish by clearing up any mascara smudges with a cotton bud dipped in make-up remover.

As for our top mascara pick? We love MAC Extended Play Lash, £14.50 - the slim brush is great for separating lashes and it doesn't smudge onto your lids, so you'll stay panda eye-free all day long. It's also fab for adding lift and thickness.

If you prefer a waterproof formula, check out Smashbox Cosmetics Waterproof Full Exposure Mascara, £19. It adds length and curl while staying put for hours - and it's perfect for stashing in your poolside beauty bag!
