Rita Ora is no stranger to a fab beauty look, and we're a little bit in love with her latest hair and lip combo!

Earlier this month, Rita showcased a pretty fierce multi-coloured bonce which she styled in a slick high ponytail.

And now it seems the starlet has switched up her locks once again, decorating her platinum blonde tresses with an electric purple hue running through the lengths and tips.

Snapping a picture on Instagram yesterday (8 July), the songstress wrote: "PURPLE LA LOVE."

But it's not just her eye-popping bonce we're obsessed with. The blonde bombshell also swapped her trademark rouge pout for totally edgy violet smackers.

Now we've long been advocates of brightly coloured lips, but there's something about a purple pout in particular that we just can't get enough.

Here are our top lippy picks to help get the look:

1. Illamasqua Lipstick in ESP, £18.50, certainly isn't for the faint-hearted - it's a true vivid purple. It wins points on longevity thanks to its matte formula, but this means it can be a bit drying too, so make sure you nourish your lips with a slick of balm first. This will also give your lippy some slip, making it easier to apply.

2. If you're a purple lip newbie, try Little Mix by Collection Perrie's Lipstick, £2.99, which has a slight hint of pink, making it a more wearable way to wear the trend. It leaves a subtle sheen on the lips, but if you'd rather a matte finish like Rita then try dusting a tiny bit of translucent powder over the top.

3. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Shameless, £7.99, is another super-dark vampy shade, boasting a pigmented matte formula which glides onto lips easily. The twist-up crayon style makes it perfect for on-the-go touch-ups too. But if you find the dark shade a bit too overpowering, try lightly patting on the colour instead before dabbing in with your fingers.

And if you fancy copying Rita's barnet too, check out Fudge Urban Pumped-up Purple Hair Chalk, £5.99. Simply rub onto dry strands for an instant hit of purple before working in with your fingers. The good news is it washes out, so you can switch up your 'do as often as you fancy!
