The former Celebrity Big Brother winner is returning to our screens next month for a new series of Geordie Shore (woohoo!) and we couldn't resist catching up with the Newcastle lass to hear about her top tips for looking good and whether Geordie girls are as glam as the TOWIE lot on holiday?!
Hi Charlotte! So tell us, what are your holiday product essentials?
Aloe Vera, definitely if I have a sunburn, and of course sun cream! Hawaiian Tropic Cooling After Sun Gel is great for after a day on the beach – it's really cooling and moisturising.
Before you hit the beach, what do you do to prep your body?
I have to exfoliate or I end up peeling! I like to stay well hydrated and prepare my skin before my holidays. I burn easily and hate it, so I take every measurement to stop this from happening.
With festival season upon us, what's your go-to hairstyle?
I've been to a few festivals recently – I like loose waves or hats and headbands. I also like little diamonds and jewels that you can stick on your forehead.
What's your current make-up bag favourites?
I love Motives Mineral Lip Shine – it stays put and has a real high shine. I always put one in my bag. Also, Newgen Superfoods Plus sachets help to give my skin a healthy glow too.
Do you make any changes to your make-up in the hotter months?
I use Urban Decay's Naked Skin BB Cream in the summer – it's really lovely and light and lets my skin breathe. And Motives 10 Years Younger Setting Spray is also great to refresh my make-up and holds it in place on a night out for a dewy finish.
Are there any new beauty products or treatments that you've tried lately?
I recently tried some lash extensions from Perfect Eyelashes and love them. Also Tracie Giles' semi-permanent eyebrows have transformed my brows. They use mineral pigments to define them and last about three years!
All the TOWIE girls still wear full make-up on the beach. Do Geordie girls do the same or do you keep it natural?
I prefer not wearing anything on the beach – you would be lucky if I even wore some mascara or even brushed my hair! It's just not 'me' to be all done up on a beach. I would love to go to Marbella but I just wouldn't fit in because of this! I'd rather just jump in the pool and have a laugh. I'm not the 'walk round the pool in wedges' kind of girl.
When it comes to a big night out, how do you style your hair?
I used to be all about the long, big hair and big backcombing, but now I've changed. I've gone for mid-length, messy, very natural look.
Do you have any beauty tips?
Moisturise and drink water – cheap and cheerful! Also use spray tans instead of sun beds – I swear by them.
