Little Mix's Perrie Edwards has totally wowed me with her transformation from 'school girl' to 'cool girl.'

After her appearance at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, I just had to find out her secrets! I grilled the 'Salute' singer's glam squad for the goss on her classy new look.

Perrie looked a whole lot different back in 2011

Now she's gone for a pared-back look with neutral tones

Her make-up artist Adam Burrell, who's also the ambassador for Barry M, revealed the products behind her red carpet face:

'We wanted this look to be bronzy and sculpted. It was very striking but simple. For her eyes, I applied Barry M Supersoft Eye Crayon in Brown, £3.99, all over then blended it out,' he explains.

'I contoured her cheeks and forehead with bronzer and popped on a bit of cream highlighter,' says Adam. Try Miss Sporty Ohh! Tan So Fine Bronzer, £2.99, and e.l.f All Over Colour Stick in Golden Peach, £1.95.

'When Perrie's dancing on stage, we can't use much gloss but it works on the red carpet and makes lips look plumper. I applied MAC Lip Pencil in Stripdown, £12, then layered Barry M Lip Gloss Wand in Toffee, £4.49, on top.'

All the girls have upped the glam factor, especially blonde Perrie

Perrie's swapped full-coverage fake tan for a subtle faux glow.

'Perrie doesn't wear fake tan anymore. Instead I apply NARS Body Glow, £44. It's a sheer, shimmering oil and gives a bit of warmth without looking OTT,' says Adam.

Perrie's brow now has serious 'pow!' Here's what's changed: 'I think it's cooler to have a fuller brow these days,' he says.

'Perrie's always loved a strong look but over the years, hers have got thicker and more modern-looking. She's got a striking face so it suits her. I use HD Brows and Eyes Palette in Bombshell, £25.'

It's out with the fake, in with the flutter! 'I use Eylure Individual Lashes, £5.29, rather than strips now,' he explains.

'It's just a lot cooler and more natural. Perrie likes a rounded, wide-eyed look so I place them in the centre of her eye and feather them slightly either side. I often add a bit of Clinique High Impact Mascara, £16.50, too,' Adam says.

Perrie's been looking super elegant

She's done bleached, purple and almost grey but Perrie's new multi-tonal look is my fave. Her hairdresser Aaron Carlo explains the change: 'I work closely with her colourist (Siobhan Jones at Headmasters) and we are both fans of seamless, natural colour.

We thought it was time Perrie embraced a more expensive, grown-up shade that works with her skin tone. I always add extra volume too using Hair Rehab London Clip-In Extensions in Mid/Light Blonde Ombre, £139.99.'

And for her sleek 'n' chic look? 'It's very easy. Create a really straight parting and apply some Kerastase Elixir Ultime, £34.50. Blowdry the hair super-flat then go over it with straighteners.

Add another drop of the oil in your palm and run it over your hair for a high-shine finish,' he explains.
