The Lara Croft actress stepped out in New York last night (12 May), walking the red carpet with her hubby Brad Pitt for the premiere of HBO film The Normal Heart.
But unfortunately Angelina suffered a major beauty fail when her face powder created an unsightly white effect across the side of her face and her forehead.
While the brunette beauty's powder probably looked flawless in natural daylight, the ingredients didn't take well to the photographers' camera flashes.
The reason? Make-up containing illuminating or light-reflecting pigments can cause light from the flash to bounce back, creating a bizarre white, ghost-like complexion.
If you know you're going to photographed a lot (like Ange!), it's best to avoid products containing high amounts of titanium dioxide - the main ingredient which contributes to the 'flashback' effect.
Instead, try using cosmetics designed to withstand flash photography such as Cargo HD Picture Perfect Translucent Powder, £21, or Revlon PhotoReady Powder, £11.29.
Now, who else feels slightly smug that top-notch A-listers have beauty mishaps too?!
