Lily Allen and amazing manicures are joined at the hip, or rather fingertips, right now!

As we said just a couple of weeks ago, Lily could release a whole book showcasing her gazillion nail designs and since then, she's been keeping up the good work with a graphic, monochrome mani, an embellished look at the Cheltenham Gold Cup and now this little 3D beauty...

Lily gets her fabulous fingertips painted by 2 of the nail world's best artists, enjoying the work of both Maybelline New York Nail Expert, Michelle Humphrey and celebrity nail guru, Naomi Yasuda on a regular basis.

This gem of a manicure was created by Naomi, who has painted her designs on all manner of A-listers including some of our favourite nail icons, Kelly Osbourne, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

Lily's look is a mixture of red and black nail colours, with pieces of gold foil, studs, chains and pearls intricately applied over the top.

We're all for attempting nail art at home, but this looks mightily fiddly and we're thinking if we tried this on our own nails it would end up as one big failure!

But if your nail artistry skills are second to none, you could easily buy the studs, pearls and mini chains from your local haberdashery, then place them on your nails after painting each one with both a red and black nail polish.

Use tweezers to press each piece onto your nails, take your time and you might just do it.

Although if you do – we wanna see proof!

Lily wore a different, but equally fabulous 3D manicure to the Cheltenham Gold Cup last week, 14 March 2014

For the rest of, there's a much easier way to get a similar 3D effect. Buy some fake, stick on nails that are already adorned with jewels and pearls!
