Created by top celebrity make-up artist, Francesca Neill who's also worked with Girls Aloud and Little Mix, Alesha's smoky eyes really are a cinch to do yourself.

To copy her look, forget about faffing about with three different shades of smoky eyeshadow – all you need is one!

Simply grab a mid-toned grey shadow like Mac Eye Shadow in Print, £12.50, and start blending it over your eyelids, starting quite strong at your lashline and gradually blending it out to a softer shade to just above the natural crease of your eyelid.

The key is to take your time, then add tiny amounts of extra shadow along the bottom of your lids to really intensify the colour around your top lashes.
