The Hollywood actress stood out from the crowd at the 'Make Equality Reality' black tie dinner yesterday (4 November) by sporting a half-shaven head that she dyed blonde.
The rest of her long brown locks were styled up into a quiff and then tied into a ponytail at the back of her head, leaving the shaved blonde sides exposed.
Jada, 42, also pulled out all the stops when it came to her outfit for the event. which was thrown by human rights organisation, Equality Now.
She sizzled in a figure flattering white mini dress, which featured gold and silver block detailing at the front and a subtle split at the side of the skirt.
Matching her accessories to the metallic tones of her frock, Jada then donned a pair of gold peep toe heels, a small silver clutch bag and modest gold jewellery.
And she even accentuated her hazel coloured eyes with a shimmery bronze eyeshadow and lashings of mascara.
Jada isn't the only member of her family that likes to experiment with bold hairstyles, as her daughter Willow is frequently seen with unusual and eye-catching 'dos, including a full shaved head and a bright white wig.
Absent from mother-of-two Jada's side last night was her husband Will Smith.
The couple haven't been pictured together for over two months, leading some to speculate that their marriage is on the rocks. They haven't commented on the rumours.
But back in June, Jada told Redbook magazine that there is nothing Will could do to stop her loving him.
"What is the thing that Will could do to make me not love him? That would make me abandon him? I can't think of one. I'm sorry. Except if he did something bad to the kids – now we've got a problem."
