Since Virgin Media's V Festival is just around the corner (Saturday, 17 August and Sunday, 18 August), Reveal caught up with Abi at the Electric Hairdressing salon in London as she had some last minute pampering done before heading to the Chelmsford site, and we made sure to ask what her top festival survival tips are!
So Abi what have you had done today to prepare for the festival this weekend?
I've had my nails painted with this sparkly O.P.I. polish. I thought I'd go for gold for Virgin Media's V Fest. I've also used Colour B4 Hair Colour Remover as it's really good for your hair. It restores its health and condition, which is always good when I'm used to getting blow dries all the time and colouring my hair a lot. And I've had my spray tan done by LDN: SKINS because you've got to be brown if you're going to wear shorts! I normally use a darker shade, but this spray tan gives a really nice bronze look.
Are you camping this year?
We're not camping because I've heard it's going to rain. I used to camp when I was little, so after years of camping I've had enough of it! It can be a laugh but if it's raining I think I'm going to give it a miss.
Oh no! We better take our anoraks then. If you were camping though, what products would you definitely have to pack?
Baby wipes! Baby wipes all the way and dry shampoo. They are literally the two camping saviours. As long as your hair and your nails are right and you've had a spray tan you're sorted. Oh and concealer and mascara are essential too!
I can't live without MAC concealer. I wear a lighter shade under the eyes and I use it to contour my cheeks, nose and chin.
Have you been to V Festival before?
We normally go to V Fest every year. Me and Jasmin [Walia] are going together this year, so it's the two best friends! We go everywhere together. It's going to be a really fun day out, drinking and having a laugh. Hopefully I'll see some of the other TOWIE guys there too so we can have a catch up.
Which artists are you most excited about seeing there?
Beyoncé! I love Rihanna and I've seen her in concert, but I've never seen Beyoncé and she is meant to be amazing live. I saw Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake at Wireless and it was great, so I'm really excited to see Beyoncé. It does look like a really good line-up.
