Last week we saw Lauren Pope wearing her hair in two plaits and with these lovely ladies doing a similar look, it's most definitely a trend we're planning to copy...
TOWIE babe Sam showed off her reverse French plaits (otherise known as Dutch braids) at a friend's birthday bash in London's Cafe de Paris where she partied with sister, Billie.
She'd visited her favourite Essex salon, Mars and Venus Hairdressing in Brentwood earlier that day to get her updo beautifully prepped, pinned and polished.
Meanwhile, X Factor judge and former Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger was rocking a similarly plaited do while filming the first set of boot camp auditions for the show.
She Instagrammed a gorgeous shot of herself posing with hot British singer, Lianne Lahavas who she met the same day.
But while Sam went for an oversized bun to complete her look, Nicole kept hers much simpler by plaiting her hair all the way round and pinning the ends under.
So, if you want to wear summer's hottest hairstyle, dear Revealers, it seems you'd best get practising those reverse plaiting skills of yours!
Start by parting your hair in the middle, then take a small section from the front of one side, split it into three equal parts and braid it together, working each piece UNDER not OVER the last to make sure the plait sits up on top of your head.
Keep grabbing extra hair from either side of your braid as you work all the way around your head, then when you reach the back, fix it with a band.
Repeat on the other side until you reach the other braid in the middle, then tuck the ends over the top of your plait and pin them out of the way.
And if you make a bit of a mess around the back, either get a friend to help tidy it up, or do a Sam and pin a fake bun on top instead! Try one of fellow The Only Way Is Essex girl, Lauren Pope's Clip In Buns, from £16.99, hairrehablondon.co.uk to really go for that TOWIE look!
