Lauren Goodger is totally embracing this gorgeous weather by enhancing her tan with full-on, neon pink nails!

The former The Only Way Is Essex star showed off a gorgeous close-up of her fingers and toes yesterday (9 July) and judging by the amount of comments and likes, it's obviously a nail trend that's in hot demand for summer...

At the start of the summer we were seeing much more muted manicures, with white and nudes looking set to be the biggest nail colours of the season.

But to be fair, the weather was stlll a bit pants then.

So now the sun's shining – hopefully for a few weeks (at least!) – it's time to embrace those brights and what better shade to choose than hot pink like Lauren's?

The TOWIE lady loves a gel manicure, so we're betting on Lauren's fingers and toes being treated to a Gelish manicure using this Make You Blink Pink, nailharmonyuk.co.uk.

But if you can't afford a trip to the salon, try Models Own Ice Neon Nail Polish in Bubblegum, £5, modelsownit.com.

Neon colours look great on short nails so if you're not blessed with super-long talons, who cares?

They also work much better on tanned skin, so If you're feeling a bit pasty, fake it with that all-important self tan.

Now let's just hope that warm weather sticks around long enough...
