Exclusive: TOWIE's Lydia Bright: My hair started falling out in clumps in my hand

The Only Way is Essex's Lydia Bright is always looking picture-perfect but the star has revealed she was forced to cut inches off her hair after it was left in a terrible condition.

Talking about her new bobbed haircut, Lydia told Reveal: "My hair was literally breaking off when I washed it, clumps would fall out in my hands. It was so damaged after all the bleach, I had to do something about it.

"I think it looks really different now - I've had an intensive treatment, inches chopped off and gone a darker shade of blonde."



And Lydia's boyfriend, Tom Kilbey, revealed he loves her glossy locks too! "I really like her new hair, I think it makes her look sophisticated and a lot older," he told us. "It's nice that she doesn't feel the need to have long extensions like most girls in Essex."

We totally agree with you on that one, Tom!



Lydia wore her hair in a chic pinned up-do, paired with a lace detail dress from her own collection as the couple attended the Lipsy Love fragrance launch party at Gilgamesh in Camden, London last night (6 November).

And as JLS took to the DJ booth, Tom chatted to Reveal about his own up-and-coming music career.

"Everyone knows me as TOWIE's Tom Kilbey but I think in the DJ scene, that's holding me back a bit," he said. "I'd rather just be known as Tom Kilbey - the Only Way is Essex associations won't really help me become a producer."



While many of last night's celeb partygoers stayed until the early hours, the couple headed home early to indulge in some late night snacks.

"Yes we left the party early to go home and eat doughnuts," Lydia tweeted - and as she shared a topless picture of Tom tucking into his midnight feast.

She added: "How he stays like this I don't no the kid don't stop eating 4 doughnuts before bed."

With Lydia's gorgeous new barnet and Tom rocking that body - we reckon they're fast becoming the hottest couple of the moment!
