Working the shows at London Fashion Week this week, we spied Girls Aloud singer and Styled to Rock mentor Nicola Roberts looking pretty fab with streaks of pastel pink through her red hair.

Never one to shy away from experimenting with her hair and make-up, we love this cute do, which looks like it's been achieved using autumn's hottest new colouring technique – chalking!
"Chalk has been used in hair and beauty for centuries," explains Katie Mulcahy, Creative Director at the Lisa Shepherd salon in London. "To use it on your hair, simply draw it on random pieces."
"And if you're applying the chalk to darker hair, spray it with water first as this allows the colour to show through better. Seal the colour with tongs or straighteners and you're done."
Best get down your local art shop right away!
If you fancy something a little more permanent than chalk (yes, it DOES wash out!), take a look at Kelly Osbourne or Ellie Goulding's cool candy looks for inspiration.
