Here's how to do Kate Middleton's wavy hair at home

We've always loved Princess Kate's gorgeous blow-dry but her elegant updo at the Royal Academy of Arts last night has given us serious hair envy!

While her locks remained as glossy as ever, Kate swapped her trademark tumbling waves for an intricate chignon, almost certainly courtesy of her trusted hairdresser, Richard Ward.

This updo is a great choice if you're lucky enough to be showing off a pair of sparkling Kiki McDonough earrings like Kate's, but it's not an easy look to re-create, so if you want to avoid serious arm-ache, take the pic to a salon and get your hairdresser to do it for you!

In the meantime, Kate's wavy hair is a much simpler look to try yourselves. We caught up with Matthew Curtis, celebrity stylist for TRESemmé, to show us how to use tongs to get the look at home...

What do you love about Kate's look? Need any help re-creating her make-up? Want to know where she shops? Don't forget to let us know...
