We're used to seeing Kylie Jenner sporting her usual fave pinky-nude lip liner but last night (20 November) she opted for a much more striking look.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posed up a storm for an Instagram selfie while wearing a black beanie hat complete with a lace veil which covered her dark brown peepers.

The 17-year-old layered up her chain necklaces while stacking a couple of band rings on one finger, wearing her tresses swept to one side and styled in a fishtail braid.

But the pièce de résistance of her look? It had to be her deep vino lippy, of course!

Kylie is famous for her full pout, recently revealing she loves to over-line her smackers with lip pencil to create a plump effect.

And this time she took her statement pout one step further by using super-dark berry lip liner, along with a dab of a slightly lighter shade in the centre of her lips for an ombre effect.

If you fancy recreating her autumnal lippy look, just follow these four easy steps...

1. First up, take a deep plum lip pencil (try MAC Lip Pencil in Nightmoth, £12.50) and over-line your pout by tracing a line just a tiny bit above the natural edge of your lips. Once you've drawn all around your pout, thicken your liner up a little along your bottom lip.

2. Next, take a lipstick in a similar dark colour (like Topshop Lipstick in Depth, £8) and apply it all over your top lip, adding a little near the outer corners of your bottom lip too.

3. Using another lipstick in a slightly lighter plum-red colour (we love Clarins Joli Rouge Lipstick in Royal Plum, £19), paint the exposed centre part of your bottom lip, and add a touch along the bottom of your top lip too.

4. Once your colours are in place, use your finger to gently dab and blend the shades so they blend seamlessly together. Reapply in any areas where you feel you need a bit more colour, and you're done!
