No one knows how to rock Barbie pink like Paris Hilton, so it's hardly surprising we're crushing on her latest lippy shade.

The blonde bombshell is known for her love of all things pink (remember when Paris drove her pink car while wearing a pink dress and handbag?), and now she's worn her fave colour on her lips.

In an Instagram photo posted earlier today (18 September), not only did the starlet show off her new blonde highlights (which looked fab, BTW), she also flaunted a hot pink pout.

Along with her fuchsia smackers Paris showcased totally flawless skin with a very subtle touch of contouring under her cheekbones.

But while we can't have Paris' perfect bone structure (sigh), we can totally steal her style on the lippy front.

To get her look, start by prepping your lips by gently brushing them with an old, soft toothbrush - this will help banish any dry flakes - before applying a slick of moisturising lip balm.

Next, take a bright pink lip pencil (try NYX Slim Lip Pencil in Hot Pink, £3.50) and trace all around your pout before filling in the centre too for a super-bold, eye-popping look.

Finish by applying your fave shocking pink lippy. We love NARS Audacious Lipstick in Michiyo, £24 (available from Selfridges), which is the perfect match for Paris' striking hue. Created in celebration of NARS' 20th anniversary, this new lipstick provides full-coverage colour in a single swipe, plus it includes ingredients to help hydrate your pout throughout the day.

We're also fans of Barry M Stain Paint in Infinite Pink, £4.49, which is a great budget buy boasting strong pigment along with seriously impressive staying power (we didn't need to reapply it until the afternoon).

And why not go the whole hog and finish by dabbing on a touch of gloss? Try Smashbox Be Legendary Lipgloss in Azalea, £15 - not only does it look super-pretty in the tube, it also gives a gorgeous, mirror-like shine with minimal stickiness. If you're not a lipgloss gal, try just applying a tiny bit to the centre of your smackers to give a lip-plumping effect.
