The Bride Wars actress was the belle of the ball as she stepped out in New York last night (14 July) for the premiere for her new flick Wish I Was Here, in which she stars alongside Zach Braff.
Kate ensured she stole all the limelight on the night, as she wowed in a smouldering black floor-length gown by Michael Kors which featured a sexy cut-out detail across her midriff, plus a sizzling strapless design.
And while most A-listers opt for smoky eyes or a bright pillar-box pout when they walk the red carpet, Kate experimented with a totally different look.
The starlet kept all eyes on her as she flaunted clear, radiant and bronzed-up skin teamed with subtly defined eyebrows and nothing but a sweep of mascara on her eyes.
And for the finishing touch, Kate slicked a deep glossy chocolate hue on her smackers. It may not be your usual everyday lippy shade but Kate totally rocked it, don't cha think?!
Here's how to steal her look:
1. With such a vampy pout it's best to rock a lighter base to keep things from looking OTT, so try evening out your complexion with a lightweight tinted moisturiser. We like Clarins HydraQuench Tinted Moisturizer SPF15, £30, which comes in seven shades and includes hyaluronic acid to help hydrate skin.
If you're worried about under-eye circles peeking through, lightly apply a moisturising concealer (like Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream for Eyes, £19). Using your ring finger, dab just onto the dark areas rather than all along the under-eye area. This will help cheat a more natural look.
2. Kate rocked a gorgeous glistening sunkissed glow thanks to a wash of bronzer. To keep things fresh, try to steer away from powder and try a liquid bronzer instead, like Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights Face Illuminator in Bronze Light, £11.99.
Apply a tiny bit on the back of your hand, then take a medium-sized fluffy brush and gently sweep along the top of your cheekbones for a hint of colour and shimmer. Start by applying less - you can always build it up later!
3. Tightline your eyes using a black kohl pencil - just carefully run the pencil along the inner rim of the upper lashline. This is great for making lashes look thicker. Next, curl your lashes before applying your favourite mascara (try Collection Supersize Fat Lash Mascara, £2.99).
4. Now for the best bit - the lips! Such a bold look requires lip liner, so start by tracing your pout with MAC Lip Pencil in Chestnut, £12.50.
Next, use a lip brush to apply Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in Brun Cosmopolitain, £7.99 - this lipstick packs a punch on the pigmentation front while also leaving a smooth, glossy finish.
Or if you fancy toning down the look a bit, go for a coloured lipgloss instead, like Paul & Joe Lip Gloss in Caramel Ribbon, £18. The hydrating formula leaves a gorgeous sheen on the lips, while the swirly tube looks good enough to eat (but don't worry, we won't!).
