Vanessa White has swapped her smoky eyes and red lips for a much more low-key look, and doesn't she look gorgeous?

The Saturdays singer posted a quick selfie to Instagram yesterday (12 May), showcasing a pretty fab 'no make-up make-up' look.

Now we're not saying we don't love Vanessa's usual dramatic make-up, but we reckon she looks even better with her more pared-back look.

The starlet flaunted flawless skin with lightly sculpted cheeks, plus groomed brows and a sweep of mascara, all topped off with a matte nude lip.

Fancy copying her look? Check out our fave tips for nailing barely-there make-up:

1. Foundation can look heavy when you're keeping the rest of your look simple, so switch to a tinted moisturiser instead (we like Clarins HydraQuench Tinted Moisturiser, £29).

Start by applying the product to the centre of your face before blending outwards to ensure you don't get any tell-tale lines across your jawline.

2. If you want to add a bit of contour, try using a tinted face powder just one shade darker than your skintone rather than a bronzer (MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural, £22, comes in lots of shades). Use a tapered brush to apply to the hollows of your cheeks for a subtle, sculpted look.

3. Tightlining is a great way to define your eyes without looking like you've got any liner on. Simply take a black eye pencil (such as Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil, £2.99) and draw along the inner rim of your upper lashline.

Smudge the product right into the roots of your lashes to help them look thicker before adding one coat of mascara.

4. Using a brow pencil (like L'Oréal Paris Brow Artiste Eyebrow Pencil, £5.49), apply very light strokes just around the arch and tail of your brow, but leave the inner corners bare. Next, use a spoolie brush to comb through the product as this will help soften the look.

5. Skip the lipstick and go for an easy-to-apply lip crayon. For a velvety matte look like Vanessa's, try Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Complex, £7.99.
