When it comes to stylish red carpet hairdos Taylor Swift never fails to disappoint, so it's hardly surprising we're lusting after her latest look - the bouncy wrap-over pony.

Stepping out at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles last night (26 January), the '22' singer stole the limelight in a shimmering silver figure-hugging gown by Gucci.

But while we loved her glimmering outfit, we reckon it might be a tiny bit out of our price range (boo!)

One thing we can get in on? Her pretty, chic yet oh-so-simple wrap-over ponytail.

Paired with diamond earrings, petal pink lips and smoky peepers, Taylor looked every inch the glamazon with her super-swish barnet.

Here's how to get her look:

1. Part freshly-washed hair to the side before brushing back into a high ponytail which sits at the middle of your head, just above your ears.

If you don't have a fringe like Taylor, leave a few strands loose at the front to help frame your face. Secure your pony with a thin hair tie the same colour as your hair.

Tip: Having trouble with baby hairs that just won't sit right? Grab an old toothbrush and mist with hairspray before combing them into place.

2. Next, using a curling wand with a wide barrel (try Mark Hill Sexy Waves & Curls Pro-Magic Hair Wand, £54.99), take a one-inch section of hair from your ponytail and tong into a loose curl. Repeat until the whole of your ponytail is curled.

3. Grab a small section of hair from underneath your pony and wrap all the way around your hair tie, tucking the ends into the band to secure.

4. Create more bounce and movement by separating your curls with your fingers before misting with a volumising hairspray (such as Umberto Giannini Incredible Body Full Volume Hairspray for Big Hair, £5.49).
